Political Director 

Amplify is looking for a strategic leader to as serve as our Political Director. This position is for a visionary, self-motivated, compelling leader who wants to amplify the voices, experiences, and expertise of communities we most need in public office. The Political Director will work closely with the Managing Director and Program Lead to set the political agenda and strategy for the organization, oversee and support implementation of program work, and ensure all strategy and programs fulfill the overall mission and vision of Amplify. They will be responsible for staff management and some fundraising.

We’re looking for a community-accountable leader who has ample political experience, including running campaigns as a manager or candidate, developing and implementing complex political and campaign plans, and stewarding participation of stakeholders and partners in achieving collaborative goals. This person will value deep relationship building, with impeccable political judgement and a deep commitment to racial/social justice and working across multiple municipalities to build majorities and pass local legislation.

Program Lead

Amplify is looking for an exciting leader to serve as our Program Lead. This position is for a creative, politically active educator who wants to help build an innovative political training and support program to amplify the voices, experiences, and expertise of communities we most need in public office. The Program Lead will work collaboratively with the Managing Director and Political Director to implement the overall mission and vision of Amplify. This position is well suited for someone willing to roll up their sleeves and get into the magic of local politics by building robust programs that foster leadership and support multi-year campaigns to build effective decision-makers, political staff, and lasting progressive change.

We’re looking for a community-accountable leader who has political and organizing experience, including training, writing campaign plans, targeting voters, and managing field. This person will value deep relationship building, with impeccable political judgement and a deep commitment to racial/social justice and working across multiple municipalities to build majorities and pass local legislation.
